Visa & Visa Extension talk

     The OIA organized and moderated a training session on “Visa and Visa Extension” for university administrative staff to gain a better understanding of how to apply for visas and visa extensions for inter-students and staff who are coming to study or work at Thammasat. The talk was given by Pol. Lt. Col. Suwaporn Chantet from the Thai Immigration Bureau at Thammasat-Tha Prachan on 5 October 2023.

     Almost 60 staff members from various faculties at the Tha Prachan and Rangsit campuses attended the event. After the OIA Director delivered an opening speech, Pol. Lt. Col. Suwaporn gave a lecture on the regulations concerning visa application, requirements, extension as well as e-extension, an online service that aims to help users save travel time.

    In closing, participants shared their experiences working with inter-students and staff regarding visa application procedures and the issues they have faced. To help clarify their understanding, a Q & A session was a useful part of the event that will help staff to process future applications more effectively.

การบรรยายเรื่องการขอวีซ่าและการขอต่อวีซ่า

     เมื่อวันที่ 5 ตุลาคม 2566 กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ จัดบรรยายพิเศษเรื่อง “การขอวีซ่าและการต่อวีซ่าเพื่ออยู่ต่อในราชอาณาจักรไทย (Visa Extension)” สำหรับเจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงานด้านวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เพื่อสนับสนุนการบริการนักศึกษาและบุคลากรชาวต่างชาติที่กำลังจะมาเรียนหรือปฏิบัติงาน ณ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรรมศาสตร์ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก พันตำรวจโทหญิง สุวพร จันทน์เทศ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญจากกองบังคับการตรวจคนเข้าเมือง 1 เป็นผู้บรรยายในครั้งนี้

     โดยมีการบรรยายหลักเกณฑ์การขอเข้า (Visa) และการยื่นขออยู่ต่อในราชอาณาจักรไทย (Visa Extension) รวมถึงการยื่นขอต่อวีซ่าในรูปแบบการบริการทางออนไลน์ ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งในบริการที่ช่วยประหยัดเวลาในการดำเนินการดำเนินการอย่างมาก เนื่องจากสามารถยื่นจองคิว เลือกวัน และอัพโหลดเอกสารล่วงหน้าได้

     ทั้งนี้ ได้มีการตอบข้อซักถามเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินการ ปัญหาและอุปสรรคด้านวีซ่า นอกจากนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน 60 คน จากหลากหลายคณะได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์และกรณีศึกษา ทำให้ผู้เข้าร่วมมีความรู้ความเข้าใจมากขึ้น พร้อมเรียนรู้แนวปฏิบัติที่ดีที่สามารถประยุกตฺใช้ในการทำงานในอนาคตได้

Thammasat attends “EAIE 2023” in Rotterdam, the Netherlands

     OIA Thammasat and staff, led by the Assistant to the Rector for International Affairs, participated in the 33rd Annual European Association of International Education (EAIE 2023) Conference and Exhibition from 26 to 29 September 2023 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, to promote Thammasat’s visibility and its international programs, exchange programs, and scholarship opportunities.

    More than 6700 participants and 240+ exhibitors from over 2,600 institutions representing more than 100 countries joined the onsite conference which offered a wide range of sessions, networking events, and inspiring plenaries allowing participants to engage a wide agenda of interest. The plentiful exhibitions helped conference attendees to reconnect with old partners and build new partnerships.

     During a dynamic week in Rotterdam, the Thammasat team participated in numerous program highlights over four days under the theme of “Connecting Currents”:

     26 September 2023 – At the Opening Reception, the Thammasat group was introduced to Higher Education in the Netherlands and offered an update with old and new EAIE members surrounded by a vibrant and collaborative EAIE community.

     27 – 29 September 2023 – As the EAIE opened, TU participants visited exhibitors, including old friends and potential future partners. Discussions, updates, and sharing information occurred throughout the week in order to find ways to strengthen the collaboration with current partners via new academic activities and to explore the possibility of building cooperation with new friends.  

     The Closing Plenary on 29 September brought together all the participants for a final time to reflect on all that had been learned and experienced during the week and were invited to join next year’s EAIE Conference – EAIE Toulouse 2024 – in France.

ธรรมศาสตร์ เข้าร่วมนิทรรศการการศึกษา EAIE 2023 Rotterdam, the Netherlands

     กองวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์ นำโดย อาจารย์ ทพญ.สิริภัทรา พัชนี ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ เดินทางเข้าร่วมงานประชุมและนิทรรศการการศึกษา EAIE 2023 ครั้งที่ 33 (the 33rd  Annual European Association of International Education Conference and Exhibition ระหว่างวันที่ 26-29 กันยายน 2566 ณ เมืองรอตเทอร์ดาม ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์ เพื่อประชาสัมพันธ์หลักสูตรนานาชาติของธรรมศาสตร์ รวมถึงโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนและโอกาสการขอรับทุนการศึกษา

     โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมมากกว่า 6,700 คน และมากกว่า 240 บูธนิทรรศการจากกว่า 2,600 สถาบันการศึกษา ซึ่งมาจากกว่า 100 ประเทศทั่วโลก โดยการประชุมและนิทรรศการมีหลากหลายกิจกรรมในการเข้าร่วม อาทิ กิจกรรมการสร้างเครือข่าย การพูดคุยหารือเพื่อเชื่อมโยงเป้าหมายและความสนใจที่ตรงกัน นอกจากนี้ แต่ละบูธของสถาบันการศึกษา จะช่วยให้ผู้เข้าร่วมได้พบปะพูดคุยและหารือกับคู่สัญญาและสร้างพันธมิตรใหม่ ๆ ด้วย

     ทั้งนี้ มีกิจกรรมทางวิชาการที่น่าสนใจมากมาย เกิดขึ้นในช่วงหนึ่งสัปดาห์ของการจัดงาน ซึ่งอยู่ภายใต้หัวข้อ  “Connecting Currents”:

     ในวันที่ 26 กันยายน 2566 ผู้แทนธรรมศาสตร์ ได้เข้าร่วมงานพิธีต้อนรับ ซึ่งภายในงานมีการแนะนำสถานศึกษาที่มีชื่อเสียงของเนเธอแลนด์ และพบปะเครือข่ายสมาชิกของ EAIE ภายใต้บรรยากาศที่มีสีสันและสัมพันธภาพของเพื่อนสมาชิก 

     ระหว่างวันที่ 27 – 29 กันยายน 2566 มีพิธีเปิดงานอย่างเป็นทางการ ผู้แทนธรรมธรรมศาสตร์ได้เยี่ยมชมบูธจากมหาวิทยาลัยต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคู่สัญญาปัจจุบันหรือมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีชื่อเสียง การหารือระหว่างเยี่ยมชม มีทั้งการแลกเปลี่ยนและนำเสนอข้อมูลหลักสูตร พร้อมทั้งหารือแนวทางการสร้างความร่วมมือผ่านกิจกรรมทางวิชาการกับคู่สัญญาเดิม รวมถึงหารือความเป็นไปได้ในการทำความร่วมมือกับมหาวิทยาลัยใหม่ ๆ 

     กิจกรรมในวันที่ 29 กันยายน 2566 ซึ่งเป็นวันปิดท้ายของการจัดประชุมและนิทรรศการ เป็นการประชุมร่วมกันของผู้เข้าร่วมงาน เพื่อให้เสนอข้อคิดเห็น สะท้อนมุมมองประสบการณ์ที่ได้เรียนรู้ร่วมกันตลอดทั้งสัปดาห์ นอกจากนี้ เพื่อเป็นการเชิญชวนสมาชิกเข้าร่วมงาน EAIE ในปี 2567 ณ เมือง Toulouse ประเทศฝรั่งเศส
