OBJECTIVE

The objectives of the Institute of East Asian Studies are the following :

1. To promote scholarly research and studies on East Asian countries and their relationships with Thailand.
2. To disseminate the findings and knowledge through lectures, seminars, conferences, training, publications, etc, in order to promote a broader and better public understanding.
3. To compile basic information, statistical data and other useful materials concerning East Asian countries and render information service to the public.
4. To encourage cultural exchange and academic cooperation among scholars and to strengthen the close relationship among educational institutions both in Thailand and overseas.
