Thammasat University have the pleasure of announcing the Graduation Ceremony for Degrees and Diplomas that will take place on the 10th August 2011, at the Thammasat University's main auditorium on Ta Prachan campus. The ceremony will be graciously presided over by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn.

All prospective graduates and diplomates are obliged to attend the Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday, 10th August 2011, as well as the mandatory rehearsals on the following dates:
1st Rehearsal (arranged by each Faculty) on Thursday, 4th August 2011 (Note that the date of this rehersal for SIIT is Saturday, 30th July; and Friday, 5th August for the Language Institute) The time and venue of the rehersal is as announced by the graduate's faculty.
2nd Rehearsal (comprehensive rehearsal) on Friday, 5th August 2011 at Thammasat main auditorium on Ta Prachan campus.
3rd Rehearsal (grand rehearsal and group photography session) on Saturday, 6th August 2011 at Thammasat main auditorium on Ta Prachan campus.

เนื่องด้วยสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงสตอกโฮล์ม ได้ส่งตัวแทนเข้าร่วมการสัมมนาเกี่ยวกับนโยบายของกระทรวงศึกษาธิการสวีเดนที่จะให้มีการเก็บค่าเล่าเรียนในระดับมหาวิทยาลัยสำหรับนักศึกษาสัญชาตินอกสหภาพยุโรป ที่จัดขึ้นโดย Uppsala University ณ Red Cross University College    กระทรวงการต่างประเทศจึงได้มีประกาศแจ้งมายังสถานอุดมศึกษาต่างๆเพื่อให้ประชาสัมพันธ์ให้นักศึกษาและบุคคลทั่วไปได้ทราบถึงสาระสำคัญ 3 ประการ ได้แก่ 1) เหตุผลที่สวีเดนต้องเก็บค่าเล่าเรียนจากนักศึกษาสัญชาตินอกสหภาพยุโรป 2) หลักเกณฑ์การเก็บค่าเล่าเรียนของนักศึกษาสัญชาตินอกสหภาพยุโรป 3) ทุนการศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษาของสวีเดน โดยรายละเอียดได้ระบุไว้ในเอกสารแนบ

The Young Thai IP Law Ambassador initiative aims to raise awareness of the legal and cultural issues around Intellectual Property (IP) amongst the younger generation, as well as to create an informal network for those university students with a strong interest in IP issues.
The project is managed by the British Council in partnership with the Central Intellectual Property and International Trade Court (IP&IT Court), BIOTEC, and True Visions with support form the British Embassy, Bangkok and internationally reputable law firms namely Baker & McKenzie, Norton Rose, Rouse & Co. Thammasat University (Bangkok, Thailand) will host the 1st International Conference on International Relations and Development (ICIRD 2011) on 19-20 May 2011 titled Governance, Human Rights & Development: Challenges for Southeast Asia and Beyond.
Scholars and Graduate level students are encouraged to submit their proposals to: abstracts@icird.org Abstracts should consist of max 500 words and include research question(s) and research method(s). Proposals will be peer-reviewed. The conference committee will send an acceptance letter with scheduling information and other instructions for submitting final abstract statements and full versions of papers. Deadline for abstract submission: 30 October 2010 Full papers are requested by 1 March 2011.
